Mountain Biking at Qwanoes

Explore the many mountain trails in the camp and the surrounding area on high-quality bikes (for sale at the end of each summer) in a small group with leaders! Qwanoes is located on the side of Maple Mountain, a world class trail network featuring some of the most spectacular scenery and mountain bike trails British Columbia is known for. The Qwanoes mountain biking program is focused on “park riding” which takes place on terrain and features that vary in difficulty from smooth and gentle to rugged and steep. (Note that Mountain Biking is not offered at Juniors camps.)

Hiking on Maple Mountain

Qwanoes is located in a uniquely sheltered 55-acre property, in an area of stunning natural West Coast beauty with spectacular views of the ocean, mountain, and forest. You’ll find some incredible hiking options and lookout spots around Qwanoes which is bordered on the south and west by Maple Mountain, on the north by Osborne Bay Park, and on the east by a secluded bay across from Salt Spring Island in the beautiful Southern Gulf Islands region.

Music is such a key part of a week at Qwanoes, so it is only natural that we would provide an option to learn how to play guitar or ukulele. Learn a few chords or maybe even some songs from Q-Town!

Lights. Camera. Action! Jump into the world of QTV and Q-Town films in a small group setting. Always wanted to try your hand at filming and editing? Create your very own music video of Qwanoes in action! (Note that Starwood DV is not offered at Juniors camps.)

Racing at RC Speedway with Friends

Try high-action, super-sized RC car racing on our grand-prix track carved into the base of Maple Mountain! (Note that RC Speedway is not offered at Juniors camps.)

Playing Games in Club Coco

Club Coco

Go head-to-head on our classic Bubble Hockey table, play some Bumper Pool or Poly Pong (4-way ping pong), and enjoy an old-fashioned milkshake, tasty smoothie, or some specialty coffee from the Coco-Hut. Foosball, Carpetball, Skee Ball, Giant Connect Four, Video Pinball, an Arcade Classics Table, Ping Pong, Qwanoes nostalgia, and many other fun games are also offered in this popular hang-out spot… come and enjoy!
