🏕 Camp Packing List
What To Bring
Here’s a list of essentials to pack:
Bible (don’t worry if you don’t have one — we’ll have one available if you’d like one)
Pen and notebook
Swimsuit and towel
Flashlight (plus extra batteries)
Warm sleeping bag and pillow
Extra footwear
Rain gear
Warm coat and/or sweater
Soap and personal items
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Hat and sunscreen
Water bottle (available for purchase at Beach Betty’s if needed)
Money for the Tuck Shop, shirts, or souvenirs — ideally deposited ahead of time by the parent through the Qwanoes Online Registration Portal. This helps prevent theft and makes purchases easier during the week.
👉 Be sure to label all items with your child’s name.
👟 For safety, athletic-style footwear is required for activities like the challenge course, skateboarding, and mountain boarding.
What NOT To Bring
Please leave these items at home:
Electronic devices (e.g. phones, iPods, iPads, smart watches, MP3 players, radios, laptops, gaming/web devices)
Bikes, rollerblades, skateboards
Valuables
Fireworks, knives, or weapons
Laser pointers
Alcohol, tobacco, vapes, marijuana, E-cigs, or illegal drugs
Lighters/matches
Vitamins and supplements (unless previously approved)
Inappropriate or offensive material
🙅♂️ As part of our camp community standards, we ask that campers avoid bringing immodest clothing or swimwear (e.g., string bikinis, Speedos) and clothing with offensive words or images.
🚭 Smoking is not permitted at camp.
✍️ And again, please label all items clearly with your camper’s name!
Can my child bring their own gear (e.g., mountain bike, skateboard, guitar)?
To help protect your gear and maintain fairness, we ask that campers do not bring their own sports equipment or instruments. We’ve got everything they’ll need here!
