Most applications are processed from November to early April, and we recommend applying as early as possible. Applications received after June 1st may take longer to process. After you apply, we’ll contact you to arrange an interview (in person or by phone). Interviews are required for all staff.

If accepted, we’ll do our best to place you in your preferred role. However, we trust that each of our staff would be willing to serve in other areas to meet special needs that may arise occasionally.

You can apply as a New or Returning Staff Member, LIT, CIT, or Step-Out through our Online Staff Portal.

International applicants should aim to apply in October for the following summer. This allows enough time to process the required work permits, which are essential to serve at camp. Please note that our staff positions are primarily seasonal, with most opportunities running just during the summer months.

To qualify for a paid position, staff need to serve 9 or 10 full weeks, from Staff Training through Youth Camp. If you’re serving for fewer weeks, your position will be on a volunteer basis.

This is usually caused by trying to log into the Staff Portal using the wrong link—often the camper registration link instead of the staff login link. Be sure you’re using the Staff Portal login link sent to you or found on our website. If you’re still having trouble, reach out to us and we’ll help you get back in.

Yes! All staff—both paid and volunteer—receive food and accommodation while serving at camp, including during time off between camps. We want to make sure you’re well cared for throughout your time with us.

Here are the basics: bring clothing for all kinds of weather, a swimsuit, a Bible, toiletries, and any personal items you’ll need. Don’t forget to bring your own towels and bedding (sheets, pillow, sleeping bag or blanket).

No problem! Camp is about 15–20 minutes from stores like Walmart and Superstore. If you forget something, you’ll have opportunities to pick it up. We also have a staff concierge who can help with small item pickups during the week, and a bus trip into Duncan at the end of each camp.
