Mainland Express

We’ve made a way for mainland campers to come to Qwanoes in summer 2021! And don’t worry – it doesn’t require you to canoe, sail, fly or even swim from Tsawwassen!

YES, YOU CAN COME FOR ONE OR TWO DAYS!

With it looking like we will not be able to run overnight camps in summer 2021, we knew we HAD to find a way for everyone in the lower mainland to get to camp. You can choose to come on any weekday for all nine day camps this summer! Check it all out right here!

Announcing: "SeaQuest" – Qwanoes Overnight Kayak Adventure Camps

Experience the beauty and adventure of our spectacular west-coast setting in the heart of the Gulf Islands! Endless discoveries await as we set off from Qwanoes Beach to explore all the best that our protected Pacific ocean setting has to offer! After arriving Sunday at Qwanoes you will meet your group and leaders, prepare at Qwanoes Beach on Monday, then set off Tuesday morning not to return to Qwanoes Beach until Friday morning! Buses From Victoria and Nanaimo

Four of our partner churches are helping make our summer 2021 day camps more accessible for families in Nanaimo and Victoria! Drop-off and pick-up your child at either our Nanaimo or Victoria centrally located depot – our leaders will make getting to camp super easy and safe! The cost is $100 per camper or $135/family (max three children living in the same household). We tried this a bit in 2020 and it worked GREAT!

Yes – it’s a life-size version and now YOU can prove if you’re the hungriest (and most skilled) of them all!

Rattlesnake Ridge

Out of nowhere it came – a sudden flash as if everything had changed. Through binoculars Sheriff Colt Cannon could see in the distance a sinister looking crew advancing through the shadows on their peaceful town.

Flashes of metal for legs and arms, an eerie steam vapour from their horseless wagon, and future-like body machines…it was like nothing this western town had seen before. Where were they from? And what did they want? Their nearing presence made everyone shake and sense that they were after far more than Rattlesnake Ridge.

Who will stop them? And is it even possible? One thing is sure – it will take all your wits, bravery and pure raw guts to pull this one off. And if we fail? It’s too horrible to even imagine!

Ever dreamed of exploring the untamed wilds? Jungle Jett and his crew are bringing the jungle to our Juniors Camps and Family Retreats! Last summer we surprised campers by adding high-action outdoor super-sized RC car racing. This summer our RC Speedway is getting a brand-new grand-prix track carved into the base of Maple Mountain!

Join a friend and race against four other teams at the same time. Each car is over two feet long - this ain't no Mario Kart video game...these cars are real, fast and and built for racing! Think you have the skills? Well put them to the test against all your friends and the rest of the camp.

Glo Concert

Junior High & Youth Campers…the Qwanoes concert tradition continues! Grab some snacks at the Kick Flip Cafe, chill with our DJ, then prepare for the highlight of the night. We’re going bright, loud and crazy at our and Glo Concert! There’s nothing better than some summer tunes on a summer night with all your friends. What energy!

Step Out Program

Step out into adventure, service and spiritual growth in our brand-new entry-level leadership opportunity for 15 and 16 year olds. If you are a Christ-follower and desire to put your faith into action - this is for you! Have you looked forward for years to when you will be old enough to serve on staff at Qwanoes? Come and join the team! During this unique two-week program you’ll be encouraged and challenged to grow in your relationship with God, make new friends, and make a difference as you learn and serve in the midst of summer camp.
