Join young adults from all over to unplug from the busy pace and relax, reflect, and have some fun at the beautiful location of Camp Qwanoes.
On top of all the time for spiritual renewal and encouragement, worshipping God through music and the Word, this weekend is a ton of fun! Many of our recreational activities will be open and waiting for you! Like the Challenge Course, featuring the Screamer and SkyScraper, plus our Escape Room, and much more. The best part? You get to do this with friends that you came with, and friends that you will meet.
Whether you are finishing a year at college or university, or have spent the year working or doing some travelling, we can’t wait to welcome you here.

Speaker: Storm Moore
Storm is excited to be a part of this retreat! He accepted the call to full-time ministry over thirty-five years ago, and while he can do other things, because of his love for Jesus and people, he won't do anything else. Storm is a gifted communicator that uses story, truth telling, and humor. His passion is to see people encounter Jesus, fall in love with Jesus, and serve Jesus for a lifetime.
Storm is the husband of Karen Moore (thirty-one years and counting), and loving father to Mykala. He says he’s still waiting for actual grand-kids, but has to settle for grand-dogs!
While he waits Storm can be found serving a Gospel centered, multi-ethnic, intergenerational church in California, but he's proudly Canadian. Other than ministry, Storm loves the NFL, the NBA, and his other passion... pickleball! You'll find him there ‘crushing’ all competitors, and always sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Storm has been a much-loved speaker at Qwanoes for almost two decades. Look forward to an unforgettable – and potentially life-changing – weekend together!

About Camp Qwanoes
Qwanoes is a youth-focused, year‐round camp and retreat centre with a heart for kids of all ages. Founded in 1966, Qwanoes is an ideal setting for fun‐filled, life‐changing adventure. Situated on 55 acres of magnificent scenic waterfront property on Vancouver Island between Victoria and Nanaimo, Qwanoes is a fully accredited member of B.C. Camping Association and Christian Camping International‐Canada.

- Begins: Friday, 9:30 pm (Registration 8:15-9:00 pm)
Guests from Greater Vancouver will catch the 5:45pm ferry from Tsawwassen to the Duke Point ferry terminal in Nanaimo where bus transportation will be provided to Qwanoes. - Ends: Sunday 1:30 pm
Guests from Greater Vancouver will catch the 3:15 pm ferry from Duke Point and arrive in Tsawwassen at 5:15 pm - Accommodation: Warm dormitory-style rooms in Qwanoes' Lodges (Sky Ridge and the Pacific Woods Lodge).
- What to bring: Your own bedding, Bible, alarm clock, flashlight, warm casual clothes, personal items, appropriate footwear, old clothes & shoes (just in case!), swimsuit.
