Lower Mainland youth groups and Camp Qwanoes are coming together for a weekend adventure that includes a giant night game, worship with our LiftOff band, a challenge from a speaker, delicious meals, Qwanoes activities like the Sky Scraper, Sky Station, Outdoor Laser Tag, Screamer and more!
A perfect chance to renew friendships, make some new ones and have a tonne of fun! Everyone's welcome so invite your friends.
A fun filled jam packed weekend filled with summer adrenaline in the middle of fall!
Don’t just watch the action or hear about it later! This could also be a time of setting a new course for your life.
Come with one of the church youth groups listed below OR if you are not part of one of these churches you can come as part of the Qwanoes group.
STEP ONE: Register online here: www.qwanoes.ca/register. There will be a spot to select the church group you are coming with (it will be one of the groups in the list below). You will be asked to pay the full registration fee and ferry fee.
STEP TWO: If you are coming with a youth group please let your Youth Leader know right away that you have registered. Your Youth Leader will then let you know how the transportation will work to and from the ferry terminal in Tsawwassen. Please see “Transportation” below for more details.
LiftOff: Mainland is organized by Camp Qwanoes and these churches in the Lower Mainland.
The registration fee is $149 (includes GST) and the ferry/bus fee is $40 both paid in full when you register online at www.qwanoes.ca/register. This DOES NOT include any possible cost of transportation to and from the ferry, please talk to your youth leader. It also does not cover any meals you may get while traveling to camp. It DOES include all the action of LiftOff – including activities, All Star Games, meals at camp, mugup snack, accommodation, music, speaker and more!
WHEN & WHERE:
Nov 7-9, 2025 @ Camp Qwanoes in Crofton
ARRIVE AND DEPARTURE TIMES:
It all starts at about 9:00 pm when the buses from the ferry will arrive at camp – you will then move into your warm dormitory style lodge room in either Pacific Woods Lodge or Sky Ridge Lodge. (Note that if you are coming with your youth group, please ask your Youth Leader for the plan on getting to and from the ferry terminal.)
LiftOff will end on Sunday at 1:30 pm when we will leave Qwanoes to catch the 3:15 pm ferry to Tsawwassen. We will arrive at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal around 5:15 pm.
TRANSPORTATION:
As soon as you have registered please let your Youth Leader know and they will let you know the plan for transportation to and from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. Your Youth Leader may have a separate fee to cover the costs for that transportation and you would pay that directly to your Youth Leader.
If you are not coming with a youth group, please meet at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal at 4:55 pm and meet our camp representative. We will all board the 5:45 pm sailing to the Duke Point Terminal in Nanaimo as a group along with the youth groups and other leaders.
Supervision will be provided on the ferry.
Campers will return to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal on Sunday on the 3:15 pm sailing from Duke Point, arriving in Tsawwassen around 5:15 pm.
A return ferry fee of $40 is required to be paid when you register online (this covers the ferry fee and return bus transportation between Qwanoes and the Duke Point Ferry Terminal in Nanaimo).
WHAT TO BRING:
Clothes and footwear appropriate for the weather, towel, a Bible (if you have one), pillow, sleeping bag, pj’s, jacket, personal items, spending money.
MEALS:
Mugup Friday & Saturday nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Bring money to purchase additional snack food and hot drinks at camp.
MEDICAL FORM & WAIVER:
Please complete the medical form on the QWANOES ONLINE REGISTRATION PORTAL no earlier than two weeks prior to the start of LiftOff. You are also required to inform Qwanoes if your health status changes after you have completed the form.
FRIDAY NIGHT:
Start with a ferry trip to Qwanoes then join in on an energizing kickoff. Enjoy a giant night adventure game, music with our LiftOff band, and a challenge from a speaker. Now bring on mugup and wrap-up the night with some special youth-group hang times and a sleep-over in one of Qwanoes’s two lodges.
SATURDAY:
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare for a fun-filled day at camp! From the energy of Q-Town to climbing to the clouds in the Sky-Station and zipping through the trees on the Screamer, archery, outdoor laser tag and hanging out in Club Coco…there’s going to be tons for you to enjoy with friends. In the evening get ready for some late-night fun – followed by mugup and an indoor fireside.
SUNDAY:
Look forward to another delicious breakfast, our final time of worship and spiritual challenge in Q-Town, more youth group connecting times, and the grand finale challenge! We’ll leave just after lunch.
